Mr. Ajay Thapliyal holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technical University, India and an Executive MBA from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. He has more than 30 years of international experience across America, Europe, and Asia, having worked with organizations such as Indian Rayon, Ambuja Holcim, and FLSmidth. His career spans leadership roles in operations, business strategy, and global market development.
At Gravita India Ltd., Mr. Thapliyal focuses on steering the company’s global businesses in lead, aluminium, plastic, and rubber recycling. He is actively engaged in strengthening Gravita’s sustainability initiatives, operational efficiency, and international growth strategy.
With his deep knowledge of the recycling industry and global market trends, Mr. Thapliyal brings valuable perspectives on building circular economies and creating long-term value in resource recovery.
