Campbell Matthews is a Senior Scientist at ArcActive, where he drives research into fabric-structured electrodes and bipolar lead–acid batteries. His work supports the development of batteries which can deliver ultra-long operational lifetimes of up to 10 years. Campbell also plays a role in ArcActive’s broader mission to transform lead-acid technology for high DCA automotive applications and has contributed to multiple automotive lead battery workshops. Campbell holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge, UK, and an MSc from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
