President, Wirtz Manufacturing Company

John serves as President of Wirtz Manufacturing Company, based in Port Huron, Michigan and represents the fourth generation of the Wirtz family to manage the Company, founded in 1932. John graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Supply Chain Management, and he began his professional career with the Company in 2005. During his tenure, John held various leadership positions throughout the organisation before taking over as President in 2019. John looks forward to driving the Company toward another generation of leadership and sustainability in the energy storage industry. Wirtz Manufacturing Company is a global leader in innovative manufacturing technology for various lead-acid based battery chemistries, including but not limited to traditional flooded, enhanced flooded, thin plate pure lead, and valve-regulated lead-acid batteries. Wirtz specialises in advanced manufacturing solutions for next-generation products such as bipolar and lead carbon technology.
