Nanjing Fiberglass Research & Design Institute Co.,Ltd (NGF) was founded in 1964 and is affiliated to CNBM Group. CNBM Group is a Fortune 500 company and a comprehensive institute engaged in R&D, manufacturing, marketing and application service of fiberglass products. Our business scope includes AGM separator used in VRLA battery, filtration media used in air cleaning and liquid application, filter materials & bags used in dust-collector for environment protection.

NGF is the birthplace of wet manufacturing technology and is a high-technology enterprise, and the founder of AGM separators and its raw materials of micro-fiberglass in China. We specialize in R&D, manufacturing and marketing of AGM separators used for batteries. NGF’s AGM capacity is over 20,000 tons per year, with a total of 13 AGM lines in four plants located in Nanjing, Shandong and Vietnam. The largest line capacity is 3000 tons per year. Another 4 lines built in Vietnam in 2019 and start operation from 2021. Vietnam’s plant is equipped with more automatic machines in order to control the quality consistency, i.e. auto weighing and feeding machine, auto acid-filling and auto rolling system. The four lines in Vietnam have the potential to produce up to 7000 tons of separators per year, serving both domestic and export markets.

NGF’s AGM products can be used in Telecom, UPS, electrical bicycles and other VRLA batteries which meet high demands all over the world. NGF always focuses on researching and developing new technology and new products, such as pasting paper, high-temperature endurance separators, lead-carbon battery separators, and start-stop battery separators etc.

In 1998, ahead of all our competitors, we attained the ISO 9001 Certificate. In 2007 we took the lead in getting the ISO 14001, 18001 certificate in China. A new management system of IATF16949 was implemented by the professional team in 2018.
