Shane was formally trained as a Chemical & Process Engineer, receiving his degree with honours from Canterbury University, NZ. His professional career has been spent in Lead-Acid battery development, having been with ArcActive since the company’s inception. He holds the distinction of pasting ArcActive’s first electrode and assembling the first ArcActive battery. Today he oversees ArcActive’s technology development as CTO, having laid a hand to most technical facets of lead acid development along the way.
