As both a forum and an expo, the Asian Battery Conference and Exhibition (ABC) continues to be the premier battery industry event in Asia.
The ABC program provides opportunities for international experts to report on the most recent developments and research achievements in the design, manufacture and application of lead–acid batteries.
We are calling for papers from battery industry executives, customers, marketers, academia, researchers, sales teams, reseller networks, and suppliers.
We will offer a variety of session formats ensuring attendees experience engaging sessions and content with quick and easy access to the presentations they wish to attend. Regardless of the session formats attendees and speakers will have access to robust and easy to navigate features including chats, live video meetings, Q&A, polls, emojis, panels and networking features.
These expert-led presentations will address latest research findings along with the most pressing and pervasive challenges within the lead acid battery industry today.
Circles of Success
Live, curated topic based discussions with experts across operators, users, researchers, analysts with selected supplier representation. Focused on solution adoption, best practices, and expert tips. Our experts will host the session; you and other participants drive the conversation.
Circles of success sessions are available as groups of 8 participants or in a larger format of maximum 50 participants. All participants are encouraged to make contact with the technical program committee to discuss Circles of success topics.

We are encouraging submissions for panel sessions. Panels are an interactive, discussion oriented forum in which audience members are participants in the discussion. Panelists are strongly encouraged to propose topics likely to be of broad interest in the lead-acid battery industry and interactive sessions that will engage both the panelists and the audience in creative ways.

All submission will be accepted on the basis of quality of abstract, originality, technical relevance and advancement of current practice. The decision will be made by the Program Committee and their decision will be final.
19ABC is attended from delegates from many countries with different native languages, but we do request papers to be presented in well-spoken English, which is the official Conference language.
Deadline for receipt of submissions: 6 September 2021
Notification of paper acceptance: 20 September 2021
Presentations will be scheduled to suit the final agenda:
Keynote Presentations: 10 minutes with a possible additional 5 minutes Q&A
Panel Sessions: 10 – 20 minutes
Fireside Chat: 5 – 10 minutes
Circles of Success: 10 – 15 minutes

Panel Sessions & Circles of Success
It is preferable that all speakers are available to participate in the virtual event especially during allocated presentation slot to engage with delegates in the chat box and participate in a short live question and answer session at the conclusion of the presentation.
Keynote & Fireside Chats
Speakers will have the option to pre-record plenary and fireside chat sessions. Instructions on how to record presentations will be provided by the 19ABC event team.
- The conference language is English
- Presenters of accepted abstracts are required to register for the conference. A reduced speaker registration fee will be offered
- Presenters are expected to reserve the Conference dates in their diaries until they receive notification of submission outcomes
- Speakers will receive training on how to access the virtual platform. presenting tips and best practice advice will be provide as will speaker dry run sessions.
- Please ensure the title of your presentation is in capitals
- Please select presentation format
- An abstract must be no more than 250 words
- Abstracts must be accompanied by the presenter’s biography of no more than 100 words
- Please include all authors of the submission and their affiliations.
